The old process was: download three .bin files, open esptool-js, pick the right addresses, erase, upload, pray. Now there are two routes: plug in over USB-C and press one button — the flasher handles every step, including the post-erase boot-loop drama — or, once Zima firmware is on the bay, update cable-free from the device's own hidden update page with a single tap. Stock firmware is included too, if you ever want to go back. And v3.4 is the current release: 47 colour flows, a fully reskinned dashboard and live state sync — every update after this one lands over the air.
